We are sure most of us would be aware of the Prime Minister's relief and rehabilitation package for kashmiri pandits living in forced exile. we are equally sure that most of us have started attaching great meaning and hopes to this so called Relief and Rehabilitation package, this can be judged be the amount of interest generated by Employment package (around 10,000 forms have been filled)
We at Vision Kashmir, out rightedly reject this package as the bundle of gimmicks and an attempt leading into further ethnic cleansing of kashmiri pandits. This also can divide the kashmiri pandit community to a great extent, and such sounds have begun to appear. Our readers reading this blog might think or be of the opinion that VISION KASHMIR, is unnecessarily sensationalizing the issue, or creating a Anti package opinion. But the government seems to be in no mood of doing this, unless pushed to the brim. This doesn’t fit their plan of appeasement policy. They are hell bent to treat this tormented community as CANNON-FODDER, and inflict further torment on them.
We are fully aware that the level of unemployment is alarming and our youth are getting wasted. But Brethren! Considering the element of bias and scandal attached to this package, considering the treatment borne by the kashmiri Pandits during last 700 years, considering the fact that the basic rights of Life and Dignity are getting compromised, leave alone economic and political rights, and considering the fact that this hapless community has suffered the gravest and most inhuman treatment in the world Histories.
DO YOU ADVOCATE THE EMPLOYMENT PACKAGE IN ITS PRESENT CONTEXT?
Brethren! We have been sleeping through ages, negotiating with our basic rights, just to please others. Just to make them feel that we are a part of Composite culture.
